About the University

Griffith University is one of Australia's most progressive and dynamic tertiary institutions. Griffith University has six campuses in the Brisbane-Gold Coast corridor, a total of some 24,000 students, and is acknowledged as one of Australia's top 10 universities. Campuses

  • Gold Coast

In the native bushland setting is the Gold Coast Campus. It's a 10-minute drive from Southport and Helensvale, and 50 minutes on the South East Motorway to Brisbane. Buses connect to Southport and the train station at Helensvale. Areas of teaching and research include Arts and Language, Business, Communication, Computing, Law and many more.

  • Nathan

Nathan is a 10-minute drive from central Brisbane. Public transport connects the campus to Mt Gravatt, Garden City and the Brisbane CBD. This is the original Griffith campus. The areas of study include Business, Communication, Law, Science, Communication and others.

  • Mt Gravatt

Situated adjacent to the Nathan campus in a native bushland setting is Mt Gravatt Campus. It's less than 15 minutes by car from the centre of Brisbane and within walking distance of the South East Busway. Buses also connect direct to the city. Areas of study are Criminology and Criminal Justice, Education, Psychology and Leisure Management.

  • Logan

Logan Campus lies in the heart of Queensland's third largest city. Buses link to the nearby Loganlea Railway Station and the campus is a five-minute drive to major shopping complexes. The fields of study are Accounting, Arts, Business Management, Health, and Human Services etc.

  • South Bank Queensland Conservatorium

The Queensland Conservatorium is at South Bank - a 10-minute walk from the Brisbane CBD. The campus is adjacent to the Queensland Art Gallery, State Library, Museum, Performing Arts Complex and the Brisbane Exhibition and Convention Centre. The fields of study include Music Technology, Opera, Instrumental, Vocal and Contemporary Music.

  • Queensland College of Art

At the southern end of the South Bank Parklands is Griffith University's Queensland College of Art. It's a short walk to the Brisbane River, and you can access the campus by public transport including train, bus and ferry. The areas of study are Animation, Design Studies, Fine Art, and Screen Production.

QIBT is located on Griffith University's Mt Gravatt Campus less than 15 minutes from Brisbane's central business district. QIBT is a modern and dynamic educational institution providing high quality programs in an environment that encourages students to achieve excellence in their studies. Griffith University is represented on the Academic Advisory Committee of QIBT and fully endorses the study programmes at QIBT. The association between Griffith University and QIBT ensures that students study in an environment which promotes the highest possible standards and which prepares students for the transition to undergraduate study. QIBT enables students who do not meet the entry requirements for direct entry into a chosen level of study, to gain an alternative pathway to university with advanced standing status. QIBT provides courses in the areas of Hotel Management, Commerce, Information Technology and Design Studies. The duration of these courses varies from 8 months to 16 months. QIBT also offers Double Diplomas, which is a 3-semester program that enables students to complete their diploma in two areas simultaneously. The advantages of studying at QIBT are:
